Kate and Gerry McCann took their then 3 year old daughter Madeleine, (now 6) and twins Sean and Amelie, 4, with them on holiday to Praia Da Luz, Portugal on the Algarve. On Thursday the 3rd of May 2007, they were dining at the Tapas Bar and restaurant, just 50 yards away from their hotel room, as they had done every night so far. At 9:05pm Gerry checked on his 3 lovely children and saw that everything was OK, and found them sleeping. He then went back and continued on with his night, at about 9:30pm a family friend of the McCann's saw a man carrying what looked like a child away. Thinking nothing of it, she returned back to the bar. At 9:50pm, Kate went back to the hotel room, and figured out that Madeleine was not in her bed. She looked for Maddie in cabinets and everywhere, but Madeleine wasn't to see.
Hotel staff and other people staying at the resort looked for Madeleine into the early hours of the morning. Kate and Gerry woke up early to look more after their daughter. Over 1 Year and 8 months has passed since that fateful night, and Madeleine has to be found safe and sound.

We still don't know where Madeleine is, who that has taken her, why she was taken or where she is.
Madeleine was going to show a dance the next day, 4th May, but sadly she didn't get to show the dance for her parents. She had been looking SO much forward to show it!

There is currently a £2.5 million reward for the safe return of Madeleine.
We all hope and pray for little Madeleine to return safely to her family as soon as posiable.
Madeleine was taken 9 days before her 4th birthday. She also missed Christmas and her next 5th Birthday. She didn't even get to celebrate her Birthdays or Christmas with her Family, it makes me so sad how people can be so nasty with Madeleine who is totally innocent, and hasn't done anything to the Kidnapper.
I will pray every night for Maddie to return to her Family and I hope you will to. <3 Such a sweet & Innocent girl like Madeleine shouldn't have been in this mess...
